Welcome to Brian's Red Sox Autographs. I thought I would join autograph website craze. This is basically an opportunity to show off my collection and hopefully make some new friends who share in my passion for autographs and memorabilia, and especially the Red Sox. Feel free to look around my site and to contact me with any trades or questions or if you just want to chat about baseball in my forum. My collection consists almost exclusively of baseball memorabilia with a strong focus on Red Sox players. As you look around I'm sure you'll be able to tell how devoted I am to my hometown team. In fact for the past few years I've gone down to Spring Training, and those trips have made my collection explode. Because I never thought I would have a big enough collection to start a website, I never kept statistics of cards I sent out and how long it took to get them back, but I'll do my best to put as much information down as possible. June 21st 2009 Big Update Today! Added 45 New Autographs, which have been building up over the last month or so. Also updated the STORE page with a lot of new autographs available for trade or purchase. Take a look around and see the new stuff, also have a few 50/50's that I'm working on with the Sox Minor League teams so I might have a few more big updates coming. April 22nd 2009 Started New Blog, More Updates Later this Week! Sorry once again for the lack of updates, I swear I'm trying to get better at this. For the last month I've had to go home to the family every weekend for birthdays, holidays, etc, so my plate has been pretty full. Some news though, I will be updating with 18 new autographs later this week but just wanted to let everyone know I started a Brian's Red Sox Autograph Blog! I'll put a link in one of the drop down menu's eventually but that link works. I'll be able to update that more often and have my thoughts and musings on the Sox and Sox autographs and also post some tips, hints, and questions I get from people. March 1st 2009 2 New Autographs Added, Interview in the Works!
Added 2 new autographs, Tony Armas and Mike Boddicker. Just an update on getting the All-Time Red Sox Roster's autographs, I'm currently at 7.28% (101/1388). Small amount but it doesn't include the last decade (2000-2009), which I have most of, so after this season when I can update with the last decade that percentage will jump up a little. Anyone who wants to donate/sell anything to my collection, I'm going after every Red Sox player with an at bat or inning pitched according to RedSox.com's all time roster. Also I have an interview in the works with a Double-A prospect, hopefully that comes through soon, thanks for stopping by!
March 1st 2009 92 New Autographs Added, New Contest, Store/Trade Pages Finished! Since it's been a while since my last update, I figured I would at least overhaul the site and have a big update. More trades and purchases are the source of this update. You'll also be happy to know that a New Contest has finally been added (The February one was cancelled due to a mix up in saving emails, and I apologize to those who entered). Also working on some new interviews of the Red Sox Minor Leaguers so hopefully some of them find time to answer some questions. February 1st 2009 15 New Autographs Added! Now I'm starting to get into the swing of things. I've been doing a lot of shopping on eBay and SportsCollectors.net because not only am I far away from Boston and just about all signings, but since I just started a new job I will not be able to go to Spring Training this year. So I've been supplementing with purchased autographs. Also working on a new website that will open in about a year with the goal being an autograph of every Sox player much like TwinsCards.com. January 27th 2009 7 New Autographs Added! I decided to take on a couple more projects now that my 2004 and 2007 World Series projects are almost complete. Short term is to get the 1967 Impossible Dream Team, and the long term (VERY long term) is to work on as many Red Sox players as I can possibly get. Right now I'm at about 40 out of 1400 players from the RedSox.com official All Time Roster pre 2000 (I've separated by decade) If you have any pre 2000 Sox players at a cheap price (preferably on Sox cards) let me know, thanks.
January 23rd 2009 30 New Autographs Added! So I know it's been a while again since my last update and I apologize to those who visit regularly, but it seems that every time I try to update the site something new comes up. Most recently I moved to western Massachusetts for a new job, so sadly I'm now 3 hours away from Fenway and Boston. Looks like now almost all of my autographs are going to be through the mail and by trade. On the plus side I'll be making more money and can afford this hobby again. I also should have some time every weekend to update the site, but I don't know if there will be any updates soon because I have to get settled into a new apartment, new job, and new city, but I'll see what I can do, anyways, as always thanks for stopping by!
October 9th 2008 A Bunch of New Autographs Added! Leskanic Needed! First Framing Project! So once again I haven't been updating as often as I would like. Have a bunch of new certified and uncertified autographs added to the respective pages. Also have been working on my 2004 World Series project and only have Curtis Leskanic left to get on a Red Sox card. Again please contact me if you have an autographed Leskanic Red Sox card. October 9th 2008 11 New Autographs Added! Received a few autographs over the last couple weeks both certified and un-certified. Also, as a side note, I'm working on a 2004 World Series Project, to get a Red Sox card signed by every member on the 2004 World Series Roster. So far I have 21/25, I only need Curtis Leskanic, Doug Mirabelli, Manny Ramirez, and Pokey Reese. Please let me know if you can help me out with this, I'm looking to buy/trade for these cards signed. Through a bunch of trades and eBay purchases I got some new autographs in, both certified and uncertified, and even 3 football certified cards (I decided to collect the only sports player with the same last name as me, Cardinals QB Anthony Morelli). September 3rd 2008 Lots of Updates! Well, it's been WAAAAAAAAAAAAY too long since I have updated and I apologize to anyone who has checked every once in a while to see if I have updated. Well besides a few trades, purchases, and other events, I have added and subtracted a lot of autographs to/from my collection (mostly added), both certified and uncertified Baseball autographs. April 8th 2007 Spring Training Update! I have finally updated my site from my Spring Training Trip (sorry for the delay). I'm in my final year at college so I'm finishing up a lot of work so I can graduate in a few months so my hobbies have been put on hold for now. I have yet to update the Trade Page, that might not happen for a little while but I did update my Uncertified Autographs Page with 208 new autographs that I received during my Spring Training Trip including Carl Yastrzemski, Josh Beckett, Justin Masterson, Bartolo Colon and Clay Buchholz. March 3rd 2007 New Interview Posted! I have recently been in contact with some current Red Sox Minor League Players and have finally conducted my first interview. The player is current Catcher Luis Exposito. He was kind enough to take some time out of his day to answer some questions. Also, only 13 more days until my SPRING TRAINING TRIP!
